Description
This caboose is a custom-designed Erie Steel Dunmore caboose that is 3D printed. This is the Riveted style, the main differences between this and the welded are the rivets, height of the end windows, and the walk boards. These are the wood plank style, the welded is the metal grate style.
It was based off of blueprints for the longer wheel based version. The prototype was originally designed for the Erie railroad, but the Conrail as well as the Wellsville, Addison, & Galeton also used it.
Included with the kit is the main shell and chassis, which are pinned together to make them easy to align, as well as a pair of handrails, coupler covers, brake wheels; and one smokestack. **Disclosure: unless requested and agreed upon the color may vary depending upon what filament I have in stock**
All that is needed to complete it is some screws, couplers, a pair of trucks, and decals; a fresh coat of paint, as well as some finish drilling, sanding, or filling. I find that a 1/16″ drill bit is very helpful in drilling out the alignment holes. It is 3D printed using generic PLA filament in several pieces as can be seen in the pictures.
They will be printed once the order is placed, I will do my best to still get them out within 10 days, but it may take longer. I will do my best to keep you updated and work through the orders as quickly as possible.
